Charges for use

Charges apply to some uses of eResearch SA services and facilities. Rates vary depending on user category and a minimum booking applies in some cases. Please also refer to the conditions of use.

The following charges are valid as of 01/01/2012.

User categories

(NOTE: "partner university" indicates University of Adelaide, Flinders University, University of South Australia)

User category A:

Partner university : fundamental research, university-based research

User category B:

Partner university : non-research, e.g. teaching, general meeting

User category C:

Partner university : commercial research
non-partner university
State or Commonwealth Government agency
Commercial partners

User category D:

Non-university commercial research

User category E : Use of eResearch SA facilities for still or moving shooting/filming locations.
This includes content to appear as images in print (e.g. newspapers, magazines), online, in documentaries, films, etc. The amount charged will be negotiated, including factors such as time required, use of in situ projection equipment/software, need for eResearch SA staff to be in attendance and relocation of other bookings to accommodate this use.
Please note that if use of our facilities results in public exposure then eResearch SA will waive all or some charges in exchange for acknowledgement of eResearch SA in the use of the content.
For example, in a photo or broadcast credit, "eResearch SA" is the organisation to be credited.

¹Includes account and account management, use of computing resources, helpdesk support, access to specialists where appropriate, short-term storage of data.

Titan is also available for HPC and advanced computing training. Use of Titan is free for any department within a partner university that has an annual subscription with eResearch SA. Other users can access Titan for $1000 (exc. GST) for a maximum of 50 student accounts, payable in advance.
