Visualisation & haptics services
eResearch SA has advanced visualisation and haptics facilities that researchers can use to enrich their understanding of a diverse range of topics, from molecular chemistry, to art history, to geology.
Using our stereographic imaging and visualisation facilities, researchers can better understand the structure of objects, find patterns in complex data sets, and visualise abstract concepts.
Our haptics facilities enable tactile interaction with visualised data and objects and can be used for purposes as diverse as surgical training and the tactile manipulation of theoretical data.
We offer:
- Stereoscopic imaging services and support
- Visualisation facilities, such as the VisLab and the South Australian Virtual Reality Centre
- Haptics facilities
