Training and support

eResearch SA runs regular training courses for South Australian researchers about how to use our services and facilities.

Courses are scheduled each of the three South Australian universities during the semester breaks and additional sessions can be arranged at other venues. Please contact training@eresearchsa.edu.au for more details.

Introduction to Linux for eResearch SA users

Course description: Basic Linux for eResearch SA users: Linux structure, Linux file system, basic Linux directory structure; Linux tools, text editors; common and useful commands; system management; Linux security; GUIs.
Intended audience: Researchers without a working knowledge of Linux. This course focuses on using eResearch SA supercomputing facilities and is not a general Linux course.
